MarketPlace PHL Makes Holiday Shopping At The Airport Easy

PHILADELPHIA – Dec. 15, 2017 – In time for the holiday season, MarketPlace PHL and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) have opened new retail and restaurant offerings throughout the concourses.

Come to the airport early, get through security and shop for your loved ones. MarketPlace PHL has more than 170 retail and restaurant offerings where finding the right gift for friends and family is made easy. Between the best-selling books written and signed by award-winning chef and ABC’s “The Chew” co-host Michael Symon, Pandora jewelry, Tumi travel must-haves, Victoria’s Secret pajama sets and Philadelphia memorabilia, there is something special for everyone on your gift list.

Travelers can also take advantage of complimentary gift wrapping available now through Sunday, Dec. 24 in the B/C Connector for all purchases made at PHL. If traveler’s gifts get unwrapped at the security check point, they are able to take them to the B/C Connector with their TSA assigned voucher and have the gift wrapped in a jiffy.

With luxury retail brands such as Furla, Johnston & Murphy, Tous and others, travelers can find the newest styles available this season. PHL also offers passengers selections from retailers carrying the best electronics, wines, fashion accessories and more.

PHL has also recently opened several new celebrity chef-run eateries that rival some of Philadelphia’s hottest restaurants. Passengers looking to sit down and relax before or after their flight can enjoy an expertly prepared meal from chefs like Nicholas Elmi at Baba Bar or a wide assortment of beer, wine, and spirits curated by Jon Myerow and Michael McCaulley at Germantown Biergarten.

Other new restaurants that have recently opened in Concourse B include Boule Café, Love Grille, Mezzogiorno and Noobar. PHL has also welcomed new quick-serve options and Philly favorites that include La Colombe, Smashburger, Bruegger’s Bagels and more. For travelers in a hurry, all the eateries throughout the airport offer the “Take Out for Take Off” program, which enables passengers to bring their favorite food with them on the plane.
