Philadelphia International Airport
Revolutionary Retail
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is renowned for the
quality of its retail program, which is distinguished by such
national retailers as Brighton, Palm One, Harley-Davidson, and Johnston & Murphy.
The $45 million development of the food and retail program at
PHL consists of 135,000 square feet of stores and eateries throughout
Terminals A through F, including the new International Terminal
A-West. This award-winning program features more than 130 in-line
stores, restaurants, and services, plus almost 30 specialty retail
units. A highlight of the retail development is a dynamic 48,000
square foot retail gallery in Terminal B/C, featuring 38 stores,
bars, and restaurants. Located between the airport’s two
busiest concourses and containing the entrance to the spacious
US Airways Club, stores in this area benefit from strong passenger
traffic and adjacencies with popular name brands.
The Philadelphia Story
Philadelphia is a success story. Spending nearly one-half billion
dollars in the 90’s, Philadelphia has invested in preparing
its facilities and resources for the future. The City’s
commitment to world-class status has reaped clear benefits, including
a dynamic airport, the Philadelphia Convention Center (the second largest in the Northeast), more than 50 first-class
hotels, a new Avenue of the Arts, renovated waterfront, and new state-of-the-art sports facilities for the Phillies, the Eagles, and the "76's".
These investments make Philadelphia one of America’s most
vital and visited regions.
