Qdoba & Sbarro Now Open At Philadelphia International Airport

North American Mexican restaurant chain and the original XL New York pizza join PHL Food & Shops

PHILADELPHIA — Nov. 21, 2022 — The dining choices at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) continue to grow for passengers. Qdoba in Terminal F and Sbarro in Terminal A-West are the newest food additions to PHL Food & Shops’ notable roster of more than 170 eateries, retail shops and services.

“We’ve been pleased with the recent expansion of food options at PHL for passengers,” said Mel Hannah, Vice President and General Manager of MarketPlace PHL. “Qdoba and Sbarro are a great quick-service addition that provide flavor-filled meals for guests on the go.”

Making the world a more flavorful place since 1995, Qdoba believes flavor inspires flavor, and it celebrates guests with this mission by offering them fresh ingredients to build masterpiece dishes. Its freshly made Mexican-inspired food is crafted with contemporary flavors in Qdoba kitchens each day. Travelers can enjoy a wide variety of mouthwatering menu options including quesadillas, burritos, tacos, bowls and more.

Qdoba is committed to offering guests a welcoming environment and takes pride in its mission of positively contributing to the environment. By using products like compostable bowls, brown paper bags, and recyclable cutlery, Qdoba is reducing humanity’s collective carbon footprint. Additionally, Qdoba honors communities by hosting fundraisers in over 700 local locations, donating food to frontline workers and raising donations for various partnerships like No Kid Hungry.

“Seven Hills is excited to bring Qdoba Mexican Eats and Sbarro to the passengers and employees of Philadelphia International Airport,” said Raghu Tadavarthy, President of Seven Hills, a restaurant management group. “Qdoba provides a variety of Mexican products for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Sbarro has great Italian breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Both menus will be a great addition to the diverse offerings in the airport.”

Global quick-serve restaurant franchisor Sbarro is now available to passengers at PHL. The restaurant is best known for its Original XL New York-style pizzas-by-the-slice, made fresh daily using hand-stretched dough, San Marzano-style tomato sauce and hand-shredded 100% whole milk mozzarella. Guests can choose between a variety of Sbarro’s classic Italian favorites, including pizza, pastas and stromboli.

Since it was first opened in 1956 as an Italian salumeria in Brooklyn by Naples, Italy-born founders Gennaro and Carmela “Mama” Sbarro, the Sbarro brand has served authentic New York-style pizza and Italian favorites to guests in over 600 restaurants in 23 countries worldwide. More than 60 years later, a commitment to authentic, fresh Italian fare and treating guests like family remains Sbarro’s foundation.
