Melwood L. Hannah

General Manager, Philadelphia International Airport; Vice President, LeJeune and Associates, LLC

Melwood Hannah has more than 30 years of management experience, including the successful operation of large-scale projects.  He has significant expertise in property management, including the development and management of capital budgets, operations planning, risk management programs, construction management/tenant coordination, as well as the implementation of sustainability initiatives.

Mel is Vice President and General Manager of the 224,000 SF Concession Program at PHL. He leads a team of highly qualified professionals to accomplish established financial and operational goals and objectives. Among other responsibilities, Mel develops and manages annual income and operating goals, works with the leasing team to maintain occupancy levels and meet Compliance and ACDBE goals, oversees marketing and customer service initiatives, directs sustainability programs, and oversees the risk management program.

Prior to his current position, Mel worked with the Rouse Company as the Regional Security Coordinator and Director of Operations at Harborplace and The Gallery in Baltimore, Maryland. As the Director of Operations at Harborplace and The Gallery, Mel oversaw the day-to-day maintenance of both projects.

Mel is a member of the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) and ICSC.  He is a Commissioner, City of Campden Housing Authority; Advisory Board Member, USO, Philadelphia International Airport; and Vice President, P.A.R.K. (Providing Alternative Resources for Kids).
